Job summary

Ace Electric, Inc. in Valdosta, GA is seeking a CDL Driver responsible for delivering shipments from Ace Engineering and Fabrication to job sites and division warehouses across the southeast. CDL Class A license, clean MVR and DOT Medical Card are required.

1 year of experience preferred, with travel and overtime as needed. The role requires operating trucks with manual/automatic transmission, lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally, and maintaining logs.

Qualifications

• Must possess excellent driving skills to safely operate and maneuver a large vehicle.
• Requires a high level of physical and mental stamina.
• Must possess effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Must adhere to Ace Electric’s Safety Program.
• Provides delivery of material to customer sites.
• Maintains delivery vehicle in clean, good working condition and monitors maintenance and mileage data.
• Maintains daily driver logs and vehicle inspection sheets.
• Must be observant and adhere to all local, state and federal traffic and safety regulations.
• May assist with loading and unloading material at the Division and job sites.
• Performs all aspects of the job as accurately and efficiently as possible while providing exceptional customer service at all times.
• Other duties as assigned.
