Job summary

Western Foods is seeking a full-time CDL driver to operate commercial vehicles and deliver tortillas and related products across California, ensuring safety, compliance with DOT regulations, and timely deliveries.

You will plan efficient routes, log hours and inspections, communicate with office coordinators and warehouse staff, and assist with loading and unloading. A valid CDL, 23+ years old, and reliability are required; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently to transport goods to designated locations.
• Plan and follow the most efficient routes while complying with all traffic laws and regulations.
• Maintain logs of driving hours, vehicle inspections, and delivery records in compliance with DOT regulations.
• Communicate proactively with office coordinators, warehouse personnel, and customers regarding delivery status.
• Safely transporting tortillas and materials (cardboard displays) to and from specified locations in a timely manner.
• Assisting with the loading and offloading of product, and materials.
• Reporting any accidents, injuries, and vehicle damage to management.
