Benchmark Utility Services is seeking a Commercial Driver to safely operate class A trucks and tractor-trailers, delivering goods across local and regional routes. You will perform pre-trip inspections, maintain logs, and comply with DOT regulations to ensure on-time deliveries.

The role emphasizes safety, punctuality, and clear communication with dispatch. Candidates should have a valid CDL-A, a clean driving record, and the ability to work long hours including weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Minimum 3 years of commercial driving experience.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures.
• Strong time management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial trucks and tractor-trailers safely and efficiently.
• Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections.
• Transport freight to designated locations.
• Secure cargo to prevent damage during transport.
• Maintain driver logs, inspection reports, and delivery documentation.
• Follow DOT regulations and traffic laws.
• Communicate with dispatch regarding routes and delays.
• Report vehicle maintenance issues and ensure repairs.
• Load and unload cargo when required.
• Maintain a clean and professional vehicle appearance.
