Job Details

• Sign-on Bonus: $3000. Paid $1500 at 30 days and $1500 at 60 days.
• Primary Responsibilities:
• Safe operation of tractor/trailer
• Secure cargo using straps, chains and other securing devices to prevent shifting during transit
• Complete shipping and delivery paperwork accurately and on time
• Compliance with all regulations
• Report any accidents, incidents, or safety violations promptly
• Maintain communication with supervisor, sales and customers as required
• Equipment maintenance, required pre and post trip inspections
• Maintain all daily records, HOS, DVIR, proof of deliveries and fuel receipts
• Physical & Work Requirements:
• Physically able to secure loads with chains and protect loads with tarps
• Overnight (layovers) may be required
• Continuous communication with departments and transportation network
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment
• Required Background, Competencies & Expertise:
• Valid Commercial Driver’s License with appropriate endorsements
• Valid Medical Card
• Excellent driving record
• Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards
• Physical fitness for heavy and oversized loads
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Accountability, safety, integrity, and trust
• Preferred Background, Competencies & Expertise:
• 2 years of driving experience
• 1 year of flatbed experience
