Mount Carmel Guild Behavioral Health System, a CARF-accredited division of Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Newark, is a leading provider of mental health and addiction services in Northern New Jersey.

We are currently seeking a Per Diem Driver for our MCG Substance Use department in Cranford, NJ.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Provide safe and reliable transportation for clients participating in the Partial Care Day Program. Responsible for transporting clients to and from the program facility in a timely and secure manner. Ensure compliance with all traffic laws, safety regulations, and program policies. Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle. Maintain accurate transportation logs and incident reports. Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle.

SCHEDULE:

• TBD 2:30pm - 8:30pm

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• This position requires a valid N.J. commercial driver’s license (CDL) of at least a class C, with an excellent driving record.

Experience as a driver in a social services position and a High School Diploma/GED are preferred but not required.
