The CDL Driver operates a commercial motor vehicle to transport agricultural products between SSC facilities and customer sites within a designated region. The role involves representing SSC professionally, assisting with warehouse operations, and adhering to safety and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities include:

1. Communicating with management to plan delivery schedules and routes.
2. Safely operating various tractor and trailer combinations to transport bulk and packaged products.
3. Loading and unloading merchandise, verifying documentation, and monitoring equipment.
4. Performing vehicle safety inspections and maintaining logs.
5. Maintaining equipment and vehicles in good condition.
6. Following safety policies and regulations, including OSHA and DOT standards.

Qualifications:

• Minimum six months of Class A or B commercial driving experience.
• Valid Class A or B CDL.
• Ability to operate industrial equipment and perform basic maintenance.
• Strong communication skills and proficiency with GPS and computer systems.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently and under deadlines.
• Physical ability to perform the job requirements, including hearing, vision, and manual tasks.
