Position Overview

The CDL Driver/Operator will be responsible for driving vacuum trucks, waterblast trucks, and other commercial vehicles to and from project sites across our territories. The role also involves assisting crews on-site and ensuring safe operation of vehicles and tools.

Responsibilities and Duties

  1. Drive and operate vacuum trucks, waterblast trucks, and other commercial vehicles.
  2. Obey traffic laws and regulations.
  3. Maintain accurate driving logs and hours per company policy and DOT guidelines.
  4. Complete vehicle inspection reports to ensure safety before departure and maintain DOT compliance.
  5. Report accidents, near misses, and injuries immediately.
  6. Maintain and assist in operating equipment and vehicles safely.
  7. Connect/disconnect hoses, unload materials, and clean truck tanks after use.
  8. Promote a positive safety and workplace culture.
  9. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

  1. Must hold a Class B commercial driver’s license.
  2. Ability to pass a motor vehicle report.
  3. Basic communication and literacy skills in English.
  4. Interpersonal and customer service skills.
  5. Organizational skills and attention to detail.
  6. Understanding of safety principles and practices.
  7. Time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  8. Capable of working in high-paced and stressful environments.

Training

  • Provide proof of OSHA 10-hour completion within 60 days of employment.
