Job summary

Encore Global seeks a delivery driver to ensure timely goods delivery to customer sites and to verify orders prior to delivery or pickup. You will load and unload, maintain routes, and operate large vehicles with GVW over 26,001 lbs while complying with DOT requirements.

The role emphasizes safety, accurate logbooks, and strong customer service, with daily use of GPS and routing systems and potential dispatch support across regional operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED required.
• CDL license and heavy-duty DOT certification as required by state law.
• Valid Driver’s License with a minimum of 2 years driving experience.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass random drug/alcohol screening per DOT.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency with routing systems and GPS.
• Exceptional customer service and strong communication abilities.
• General knowledge of vehicle inspection, maintenance, and load securement.
• Ability to drive or sit for long hours and work flexible schedules.
• Must be 21+ years old to operate Encore vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Drive Encore owned, leased, or rented vehicles including GVW > 26,001 lbs.
• Maintain set routes and schedules to meet customer expectations.
• Load and unload vehicles and review orders for accuracy during delivery and pickup.
• Ensure contents are secured and comply with traffic laws and safety.
• Complete manual or electronic logs as required by region.
• Provide superior customer service and maintain client relationships.
• Assist with dispatching, route planning, and coordinating with venues and branch staff.
