Job summary

Waste Management in Albany, GA is seeking a CDL Class B driver to safely operate a heavy-duty truck on swing routes, serving residential, commercial, and construction sites. You will perform pre- and post-trip inspections, maintain a clean vehicle, and follow OSHA/DOT requirements.

The role requires 2 years of CDL experience, English proficiency, and the ability to work Monday–Friday starting at 6am. You will report issues to Route Manager and contribute to route efficiency.

Qualifications

• 2 years operating a vehicle requiring a CDL or equivalent driving experience.
• Able to read, write, and speak English to interact with the public.
• CDL Class B; 18+ and legally eligible to work.
• Pre-employment drug screen and physical.
• (CDL)-Class B

Responsibilities

• Operate vehicle per OSHA/DOT rules and company standards; keep vehicle clean.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and report issues.
• Report unsafe situations to Route Manager before service.
• Assist Route Manager to improve route efficiencies.
• Notify Route Manager of incidents or issues as they occur.
• Complete route documentation and end-of-day check-in.
• Position containers properly on customer sites and keep area tidy.
