Buell Fuel is a fast-growing, family-owned company headquartered in Deansboro, New York. We have a dedicated staff committed to providing excellent service and competitive pricing to our customers. Join our team of drivers delivering fuel products throughout upstate New York, servicing residential, commercial, municipal, resale, and wholesale accounts.

Requirements:

1. This is an hourly position, with shifts approximately 10 hours long, depending on deliveries. Flexibility in scheduling is required, including potential overtime and additional shifts. Overtime pay applies after 40 hours.
2. Must have good customer rapport and communication skills.
3. High School Diploma or GED required.
4. Willingness to obtain a TWIC card.
5. Minimum of 1 year CDL B driving experience with current CDL B license, tank and HazMat endorsements, and a desire to learn tanker delivery.
6. Ability to pass a DOT-certified physical exam every two years.
7. Pre-employment EEO and drug testing required; ongoing random drug testing during employment.
8. Responsibilities include safely loading, securing, transporting, delivering, and unloading gasoline, oil, and propane products, following routes and schedules provided by the dispatcher.
9. Adherence to all company policies, DOT, and HazMat regulations, and safety standards is mandatory.
10. Complete all required paperwork accurately to ensure compliance and asset protection.
11. Work outdoors in various weather conditions, exposed to fumes and elements.
12. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, demonstrating safety focus and operation skills.
13. Must be self-motivated, with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a sense of urgency.
14. Use minimal math skills for loading and delivery calculations.
15. Communicate effectively with customers, mechanics, and dispatchers regarding service issues.
16. Maintain an environmentally compliant workspace.
17. Regularly lift and move up to 50 pounds, and perform physical activities such as bending, kneeling, and reaching.
18. Report to work as scheduled with minimal absenteeism or tardiness.

Job Details:

• Type: Full-time
• Hours: 5am – 5pm, 5 days a week
• Salary: $26.00 – $30.00 per hour, based on experience
