Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Milwaukee and Chicago metropolitan areas.

CDL Driver, No Touch- Home Daily! (2nd Shift)

A CDL Truck Driver for Arandell is responsible for driving a company tractor/trailer vehicle to and from Milwaukee and Chicago Metro areas on a daily basis. Responsibilities also include equipment pre and post trip inspections, supporting yard trailers positioning, and completion of load papers and DOT logs.

What you'll be doing:

This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time.

  • Obtains proper paperwork and instructions from the supervisor and/or traffic manager prior to the start of their shift.
  • Keeps proper logs as required by state and federal regulations.
  • Stays in constant contact with supervision and/or traffic manager in transit and upon reaching destination for further instructions.
  • When truck is unavailable or not in use, will support movement of trailers around yard and facility as required by supervisor and/or traffic manager.
  • Responsible for the safe and proper operation of company equipment in accordance with all safety rules and regulations, and for maintaining clean operating condition of the equipment (truck and trailers hygiene)
  • Responsible for equipment daily pre and post trip inspections and the completion of all compliance and incident reporting documentation.
  • Maintains a high level of confidentiality on all matters involving the Shipping/Receiving Department and Arandell Corporation.
  • Maintains a good working relationship with all plant and office personnel including a positive customer relation’s approach towards all associates, visitors, customers and vendors
