SALARY RANGE: $25.00 - $29.00/hour

PURPOSE AND SUMMARY

Operates a truck (single, tandem, or multi-axle) for delivery and/or pickup of agronomy, energy, or turf products, following specific schedules to/from company or customer locations to ensure profitable growth.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Operates all assigned vehicles, forklifts, etc., safely and according to standards.
• Performs daily safety checks, including pre-trip inspections, and maintains cleanliness and preventative maintenance of vehicles.
• Loads and unloads materials safely, ensuring proper weight distribution and compliance with DOT regulations.
• Delivers and picks up in accordance with schedules, providing excellent customer service.
• Completes accurate documentation, including bills of lading, delivery slips, and invoices, and maintains logs and records daily.

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS

• Maintains company equipment and professional appearance according to standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent, with 2+ years of related experience operating tractor-trailer or tender trucks, meeting company and DOT standards.
• Possesses a valid CDL with endorsements, medical card, and a clean driving record.
• Willing to work extended hours and on-call as needed.
• Able to obtain and maintain necessary certifications, licenses, and permits.
• Occasionally exposed to extreme weather, dust, fumes, chemicals, electrical hazards, and heights; can lift 51-70 lbs.
