Purpose and Summary Statement
Operates and maintains single, tandem, or multi-axle trucks/trailers and forklifts for delivery and pick-up of agronomy and energy products, following specified schedules to/from company or customer locations, to support profitable business growth.
Essential Job Functions
Operates and maintains all assigned vehicles, including trucks and forklifts, in accordance with safety standards and proper vehicle operation techniques.
Performs daily safety checks such as pre-trip inspections, fuel and oil levels, tire, light, and brake inspections, and maintains a clean vehicle appearance.
Loads and unloads trucks following company policies and DOT regulations.
Ensures all deliveries, pickups, and documentation meet company standards.
Other Job Functions
Maintains company equipment according to standards, adheres to the Uniform Policy, and maintains a professional image.
Follows GROWMARK’s Code of Conduct, Environmental Health and Safety policies, OSHA, and DOT regulations.
Performs basic shop maintenance and other duties as assigned.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
Possesses or can obtain and maintain a CDL license with required endorsements, a valid medical card, and a satisfactory driving record.
Able to work extended hours as needed.
Willing to participate in training related to company policies and safety procedures.
Working Conditions
Exposed to extreme weather, noisy conditions, dust, fumes, chemicals, electrical hazards, and varying heights.
Capable of moving up to 100 lbs.
Willing to participate in required safety and operational training.
