About the Role

We are looking for Class A Delivery Drivers to join the US FOODS® family at our North Portland yard. Drivers will deliver meats, produce, frozen goods, groceries, dry goods, equipment, and supplies to customer drop‑off sites within the local area.

Schedule

• 1st Shift with early‑morning starts.
• Weekdays Monday‑Saturday, including weekends as needed.
• Average of 4‑5 days per week.

Compensation

Base rate $31.44–$34.93 per hour, with overtime compensation as applicable.

Main Responsibilities

• Deliver customer orders on time and maintain productivity.
• Unload products with a hand truck and place items in the customer’s storage area.
• Perform repeated, manual heavy lifting of items up to 80 pounds.
• Make frequent stops during a work shift.
• Deliver product in inclement weather conditions.
• Verify delivery of items with customers.
• Collect payment (cash or checks) when required.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid CDL Class A with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications.
• High‑school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license with required endorsements.
• No more than two convictions in the past two years for traffic violations, no DUI convictions in the past three years, no driver’s license suspensions in the past three years.
• Minimum six months of commercial driving experience (any industry) or three months of experience in the food and beverage delivery industry.
• Must pass a DOT physical.
• Must register with the FMCSA Clearinghouse.
