Experience, Skills, and Education Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Class A or B CDL
- Current HAZMAT license/certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Tankers “N” endorsement preferred
- Medical examiner’s certificate or ability to pass DOT physical
- Strong problem solving, critical thinking, interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to pass DOT drug tests, DMV check, background checks, and assessments
- Physically active, detail-oriented, safety-focused
- Forklift license/certification preferred
Job Responsibilities:
Local Driving
- Deliver and pick up high-pressure gas cylinders or cryogenic liquids in Albuquerque, NM, and nearby areas
- Drive and placard a hazardous materials truck
- Load/unload cylinders, obtain signatures, and record quantities accurately
- Use barcode systems and perform DOT inspections
- Report vehicle issues and submit paperwork timely
- Provide excellent customer service and participate in safety meetings
Long-Haul Driving
- Conduct long-distance deliveries of cryogenic gases across the country
- Operate offload pumps, weigh trucks, and manage flowmeters
- Drive and operate tube trailers, manage valves, and record delivery details
- Perform inspections, maintenance, and paperwork
- Ensure customer satisfaction and safety compliance
Plant Operations
- Assist at the plant when not driving, including organizing, unloading, preparing cylinders, and cleaning
