Job summary

Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in Seattle is seeking a Per Diem Driver to operate a mammovan and support radiology workflows. Shifts are Monday–Friday from 5:30am to 6:00pm, with coverage as needed.

The role requires a WA State Class A CDL, clean driving record, and strong customer service. Per diem pay ranges from $35.94 to $51.18 hourly, with benefits including retirement savings, EAP, and paid sick leave.

Qualifications

• Required: High School diploma or GED.
• WA State Class A CDL and medical exam on file.
• 2 years of commercial driving experience.
• Good customer relations skills.
• No major infractions or accidents past 3 years.
• Pass driving road test and pre-employment drug test.
• Effective written and oral communication.
• Computer and MS program skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily pre-trip checks and complete checklists.
• Coordinate daily image transfer from mobile unit to clinic for radiologists.
• Conduct site surveys and provide driving directions with accessibility and parking info.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety at all times.
• Restock supplies daily and use materials cost-effectively.
• Maintain driving record and report incidents; file accident reports.
• Provide on-site training as needed.
• Maintain WA State Class A CDL.
• Participate in random drug/alcohol screening.
• Provide courier services between Fred Hutch campuses as needed.
• Keep job sites and trucks clean and organized.
