Job summary

Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in Seattle is seeking a Per Diem Driver to support mobile screening and on-site clinical operations. You will drive a mammovan, perform safety checks, transport personnel and supplies, and coordinate image transfers for radiologists.

The role requires a WA State Class A CDL, a clean record, and 2 years of commercial driving experience. Per diem shifts are available Monday–Friday; flexibility and accuracy are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• WA State Class 'A' CDL with current medical exam.
• At least 2 years of commercial driving experience.
• Excellent customer relations skills.
• Clear driving record with no major infractions or accidents in 3 years.
• Ability to pass driving road test and pre-employment drug test.
• Effective written and oral communication; MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs daily pre-trip checks and complete checklist forms.
• Coordinates daily image transfer from mobile to clinic for radiologists.
• Conducts site surveys and creates driving directions.
• Ensures patient and staff safety and comfort during transport.
• Restocks supplies and manages cost-efficient use.
• Maintains a clean driving record and reports infractions.
• Provides on-site training as needed.
• Maintains WA State Class A CDL.
• Participates in random drug and alcohol testing.
• Provides courier services between Fred Hutch campuses.
• Maintains organized workspaces and tools.
