Purpose & Summary Statement

• Deliver all products to meet customer needs and ensure proper accounting.
• Repair and maintain a wide variety of light and heavy equipment, as well as facility manufacturing and shipping equipment.

Essential Job Functions

• Deliver products according to customer requirements.
• Maintain and upkeep equipment to enhance appearance and extend lifespan.
• Contribute to the highest level of customer service.
• Communicate sales leads to supervisor.
• Ensure all products are properly accounted for with invoices or delivery tickets.
• Minimize shrink to acceptable levels.
• Lubricate, service, diagnose, repair, assemble, and maintain all equipment and vehicles.
• Perform field or shop inspections to determine repair needs or estimate repair costs.
• Fabricate and rebuild from formal or informal plans or verbal instructions.
• Schedule maintenance and repairs in the shop facility.

Other Job Functions

• Support and contribute to company goals through collaborative efforts.
• Participate in the Safety Committee and in GFS EHS policies and training.
• Follow GROWMARK’s Code of Conduct, Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA, and DOT policies and procedures.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, or 1–3 months of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to be on call for repairs and emergencies at the discretion of management.
• Must possess or be able to acquire a CDL license with appropriate endorsements.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record.
• Must be able to supply own shop tools.
• Must be able to lift 70 lbs.
• Willingness to participate in required training related to GROWMARK’s policies and procedures.
