Job summary

New Way Trucks in Scranton, IA is seeking a CDL Driver/Material Handler to join our manufacturing team. You will load and unload fabricated parts, transport to and from vendors, and help move materials around the plant.

This role requires a Class A CDL (or ability to obtain) and about 1 year of driving experience. You will verify loads, secure cargo, and coordinate with the Logistics Coordinator to ensure on-time deliveries.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL or ability to obtain one.
• Minimum 1 year driving experience.
• Ability to pass background check.
• Able to follow applicable traffic laws and safety procedures.
• Read and understand documents, orders, and pick lists.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trailer using forklift or crane.
• Secure the load using straps and chains.
• Drive safely to and from outsource vendors.
• Communicate with Logistics Coordinator.
• Verify load for accuracy and completeness.
• Move materials throughout the plant between deliveries.
• Other duties as required by supervisor.
