Ferguson Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a reliable driver in Columbus, Ohio, offering a competitive pay rate of $30/hr along with a $1,000 sign-on bonus after 90 days. Responsibilities include delivering materials, conducting vehicle inspections, and assisting in warehouse operations.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials to the customer while ensuring delivery of ticket with material.
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Follow and implement all company safety policies and procedures.
• Assist warehouse personnel with pulling and preparing orders for shipments.

Schedule

Monday - Friday 6 AM to 3:30 PM or until route completion

Pay Rate

$30/hr depending on experience with a $1,000 sign on bonus to be paid after 90 days

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-3 years of commercial truck driving experience is strongly preferred.
• Valid Class A CDL license.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must currently, have, acquire, and/or maintain a valid DOT Medical card in order to meet driver requirements.
• Ability to lift items that weigh up to 50 lbs.
• A background in warehouse operations and logistics, including shipping, receiving and delivery is a plus.
• Good communication and customer service skills as well as general digital literacy.

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials to the customer, which includes utilizing pallet jack and two-wheel dolly to load and unload and ensuring delivery of ticket with material.
• Pick up customer returns, validating product match for credit requests.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fuel the truck as needed, and report any problems or issues to supervisor.
• Follow and implement all company safety policies and procedures.
• Assist warehouse personnel with pulling and preparing orders for shipment as needed, as well as receiving, verifying, staging and stocking incoming material.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
