Job summary

ADP, Inc. is seeking a full-time CDL Driver for our Glasgow distribution center in Kentucky. You will transport goods to customer and company locations, perform inspections, secure cargo, and ensure accurate load documentation, all while maintaining compliance with safety regulations.

You will communicate with dispatch, warehouse staff, and customers, assist with loading/unloading as needed, and uphold a high standard of dependability and service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; CDL training preferred.
• Valid CDL with required endorsements for assigned cargo.
• Knowledge of safety, cargo securement, and hours-of-service.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate commercial motor vehicles on local, regional, or over-the-road routes.
• Complete inspections and report defects, accidents, and safety issues.
• Verify load documents for accuracy and timely delivery.
• Inspect, secure, and balance cargo within legal limits.
• Deliver freight on time following routes and dispatch instructions.
• Maintain records for hours of service, mileage, fuel, and deliveries.
• Communicate with dispatchers, warehouse, customers, and supervisors.
• Assist with loading/unloading when required and keep vehicle clean.
• Follow DOT, FMCSA, state and company policies, including drug testing.
