Bluegrass-Ingredients-Inc. in Glasgow, KY is seeking a CDL Driver to safely transport goods to customer and company locations, perform inspections, and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class A or B CDL with endorsements for assigned equipment or cargo.
• Current medical qualification documentation as required by law.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations, hours-of-service, cargo securement, and safety.
• Ability to read route instructions and shipping documents clearly.
• Ability to pass background checks and drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate assigned commercial vehicles on local or regional routes.
• Complete pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections; report defects.
• Verify bills of lading and load documentation for accuracy.
• Secure cargo within legal weight and equipment limits.
• Deliver freight on time following routes and dispatch instructions.
• Maintain accurate records for hours of service, mileage, and deliveries.
• Communicate with dispatchers, warehouse staff, customers, and supervisors.
• Assist with loading/unloading as needed, using safe practices.
• Keep the cab and vehicle clean and ready for operation.
• Follow DOT and company safety policies and testing requirements.
