Job summary

Core & Main LP is seeking a dedicated delivery driver to serve customers in the community. You will drive a route, deliver materials, and interact with customers at the point of delivery, ensuring accuracy and safety.

The role emphasizes DOT-compliant trucking, on-time deliveries, and collaboration with warehouse staff to prepare orders for shipment. You will be home evenings and weekends and be part of a team focused on safe, reliable infrastructure delivery.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Valid CDL A or CDL B.
• 1 year of on-the-job commercial driving experience.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment assessments.
• Preferably, you have manual transmission experience.
• Flatbed driving experience.
• Forklift experience.
• 2+ years of delivery experience.
• Prior experience loading/unloading product and/or job site delivery.

Responsibilities

• Delivers products to customers and may assist with unloading.
• Serves as the primary interface with the customer at the delivery point.
• Contacts customers if they are not present at the delivery location.
• Loads truck with daily deliveries and unloads at the customer site.
• Performs pre-trip and post-trip inspections per DOT and company policy.
• Documents vehicle defects, accidents, or traffic violations.
• Plans routes and adjusts for traffic or construction.
• Ensures manifests are complete and accurate.
• May assist warehouse staff with pulling and preparing orders for shipment.
