Job summary

Core & Main, based in St. Louis, is seeking a delivery driver to serve customer locations within the local community. The role involves loading/unloading, operating a forklift, and representing the company during deliveries with a focus on safety and reliability.

Responsibilities include driving deliveries, performing vehicle inspections, and supporting warehouse activities as needed. The position offers evenings and weekends at home, with competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of Class A or Class B driving experience.
• Forklift experience.
• 2+ years of delivery experience.
• Prior experience loading/unloading product and job-site delivery.

Responsibilities

• Delivers products to customers; serves as primary interface at delivery.
• Loads truck with daily deliveries; unloads at customer's site.
• Performs pre-trip and post-trip inspections per DOT regulations; reports defects.
• Resolves customer service issues.
• Maintains DOT records and vehicle logs; complies with standards.
• Plans routes to/from customers and adjusts for traffic.
• Ensures manifests are complete and accurate.
• Assists warehouse staff with pulling and preparing orders for shipment.
