Job summary

PODS in Milwaukee is seeking a professional driver responsible for delivery and pickup of containers to customer locations, ensuring incident-free service and strong rapport with customers. You will perform safety inspections, use a handheld computer, and operate a forklift or crane as needed.

The role requires a CDL, 21+ years old, and a commitment to training and safety. The position offers a pay rate of $27.50–$28.00 per hour, a $3,000 sign-on bonus, and a full benefits package including

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid CDL Class B license without air brake restriction.
• Must maintain a current/valid driver license.
• DOT medical certificate or ability to obtain 1-year certification.
• Hands-on experience with electronic equipment and software preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Able to attend 2-week new hire driver training.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate a commercial truck with lift to load/unload containers safely.
• Perform and log daily pre- and post-trip inspections.
• Accept add-on deliveries as required to meet business needs.
• Use handheld computer for delivery verification and navigation.
• Operate a forklift and/or overhead crane.
• Coordinate rental paperwork with the customer.
• Maintain cleanliness of truck cab and perform basic repairs as needed.
• Provide backup for storage center functions when needed.

Education
