Job summary

Coleman Worldwide Moving is hiring CDL drivers in the Houston area. The role involves loading, transporting, and unloading household goods, with opportunities to lead crews and interact with customers daily.

Ideal candidates have a clean driving record, can comply with our zero-tolerance policy, and are able to travel locally. Compensation ranges from $20–$22 per hour, with benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Requires a valid CDL and clean driving record.
• Willing to travel locally and possibly interstate.
• Able to comply with zero-tolerance drug policy.
• Excellent communication and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Transport goods using a Coleman truck and ensure secure loading.
• Lead the crew in loading shipments on to and off of the truck.
• Inspect shipments prior to loading for proper packing or wrapping.
• Maintain accurate inventory of shipments.
• Assist as needed in loading trucks and containers for forward movement via interstate commerce.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections on the vehicle and equipment.
• Maintain documentation for shipments, expenses, driver logs, and DOT regulations.
• Lift and carry household goods between residence and vehicle.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
