Job description

Pool and Spa Depot is interviewing candidates for the position of CDL Driver to work from our LaVergne Headquarters.


The CDL Driver will be responsible for loading and unloading machines and delivering materials to our customers, stores, and warehouses, in an accurate and timely manner. The CDL Driver will be driving either a semi or dump truck from our fleet of vehicles.

Our CDL Drivers are HOME EVERY NIGHT!!

Job Duties include; but are not limited to the following:

• Load and unload merchandise or machines on trucks or trailers.
• Experience driving a semi and dump truck and hauling heavy equipment.
• Deliver and transfer products and merchandise between stores.
• Performs simple vehicle maintenance; cleaning interior of vehicle, checking lights, checking tires, filling fluids, scheduling routine maintenance.
• Observes traffic laws and posted speed limits.
• Interacts with customers in a professional manner.
• Return all documentation to appropriate company official.
• Maintains a neat, clean personal appearance.
• Unloads vehicle after completing delivery.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
• Observes no smoking in the company vehicle

Qualifications:

• 2-3 years related experience or equivalent
• Must have a valid Class A CDL
• Semi truck is experience highly preferred.
• Familiarity with DOT rules and regulations
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Needs a clean driving record, preferrably no violations and incidents.
• Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
