This role requires handling a heavy-duty flatbed truck with a rear-mounted knuckle boom and delivering precast concrete products to active jobsites.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL (minimum).
• Professional truck driving experience.
• Experience with crane operation, rigging, or recovery.
• Clean driving record for the past 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Operate a flatbed truck with a rear-mounted knuckle boom.
• Load, secure, transport, and unload precast concrete products.
• Use a remote-controlled boom to position materials safely.
• Navigate uneven terrain and active construction sites.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain delivery logs and equipment records.

AtWork Personnel – Harrisonburg is recruiting an experienced CDL Driver / KNUCKLE BOOM OPERATOR for a well-established construction materials company in the Shenandoah Valley! This isn' t your typical driving job! We' re looking for someone who can handle a heavy-duty flatbed truck, operate a rear-mounted knuckle boom, and confidently deliver construction materials to active jobsites.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Operating a flatbed truck equipped with a rear-mounted knuckle boom
• Loading, securing, transporting, and unloading precast concrete products
• Using a remote-controlled boom to safely position materials
• Navigating uneven terrain and active construction sites
• Performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintaining accurate delivery logs and equipment records
• Working independently while keeping safety FIRST!

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

• Valid Class B CDL (minimum)
• Professional truck driving experience
• Experience with crane operation, rigging, or recovery
• Clean driving record for the past 3 years
• Confidence operating heavy equipment safely
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Dependability, good judgment, and a STRONG work ethic!
