Job summary

Railserve is hiring dependable CDL drivers in Indiana to support rail construction and operations projects. This full-time, hands-on role transports equipment, materials, and tools to job sites while supporting field teams and ensuring timely deliveries.

You will operate a Class A vehicle, assist with loading/unloading, and maintain strict safety and DOT compliance. The position offers varied project-based travel, on-site work, and a pay structure based on experience.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record.
• Ability to secure loads safely to trailers.
• Experience operating heavy equipment preferred.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.
• Ability to travel regularly and stay overnight as needed.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and job site environments.
• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class A truck hauling equipment on flatbed and lowboy trailers.
• Transport materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites.
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical and safety issues and perform basic preventive maintenance.
• Report defects or maintenance needs to internal teams.
• Maneuver trucks in tight environments such as construction zones and active job sites.
• Load, secure, and unload equipment and materials safely.
• Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies.
• Maintain proper documentation for deliveries, inspections, and incidents.
• Assist with labor or equipment operation tasks as needed.
• Wear required PPE and follow all safety protocols.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Job Description
Railserve is hiring dependable, safety-focused CDL Drivers in Indiana to support rail construction and operations projects. This is a full-time, hands‑on role responsible for transporting equipment, materials, and tools to job sites while supporting field operations.

In this role, you will safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle, assist with loading and unloading equipment, and support field teams as needed. You will play a critical role in ensuring materials and equipment are delivered safely, efficiently, and in compliance with DOT and FRA regulations.
