CEVA Logistics in San Antonio, TX seeks a Driver II to operate heavy/tractor-trailer GVW over 26,000 lb, transporting cargo to various destinations while upholding DOT safety standards. You will ensure cargo is secured, interact with customers professionally, and support loading/unloading with appropriate equipment.

The role requires a CDL A or B with HazMat endorsement and a strong safety record. Benefits include PTO, holidays, 401(k), and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 6 months verifiable CDL driving experience (A or B).
• 5 years of industry driving experience may substitute for HS diploma.
• Hazardous materials endorsement may be required.
• Must read/speak/understand English.

Responsabilités

• Operate heavy and tractor-trailer vehicles over 26,000 pounds safely and in DOT compliance.
• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
• Safely load/unload freight using forklift and pallet jack with proper securing devices.
• Report cargo irregularities and delays to dispatch promptly.
• Maintain communication with dispatch and handle weather/accidents delays.
