Rexel USA is seeking a CDL Driver I to join the Platt team in Reno, NV. The role involves delivering products to customers and branch locations, ensuring orders meet customer requirements, and maintaining vehicle safety and documentation.

The position requires CDL and at least 21 years of age, with responsibility for inspections, loading/unloading, and independent route adherence. Candidates should demonstrate strong safety awareness and the ability to work overtime as needed.

Competenze

• 7+ years of driving experience and 1+ years of CDL driving experience preferred
• Or 1+ years of CDL driving experience required
• Must have a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must pass a pre-employment and annual review of their Motor Vehicle Record
• Must obtain verification of non-expired medical certificate as required by law within 60 days of hire
• Must not have had their driver’s license suspended for traffic accidents/violations within the past 3 years
• Must not have any at fault accidents in the past 3 years

Mansioni

• Inspect company vehicle for defects and complete a daily inspection report
• Keep vehicle clean, serviced, and maintained; report needed repairs
• Follow DOT and state driving laws and regulations
• Load/unload and ensure material accuracy before departure
• May assist in preparing orders for delivery
• Ensure delivery documentation is complete and signed by customer
• Pickup material returns and verify condition and quantities
• Pickup material from suppliers
• May perform other branch duties as needed
