Job summary

KI Lumber & Building Materials seeks a CDL Driver I to safely deliver materials to customers, inspect and maintain trucks, and assist in loading and unloading. Requires Class A or B CDL and DOT log knowledge; interstate experience preferred.

You will be part of a team supporting yard operations and provide excellent customer service while complying with DOT regulations and company policies. Opportunity for growth into specialized CDL roles based on performance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CDL experience preferred.
• Basic CDL experience with flat beds and/or tractor trailers required.
• 1-3 years CDL experience required for interstate commerce.

Responsibilities

• Operate safely.
• Deliver and unload materials to customers' satisfaction.
• Prepare DOT required log of time on duty and driving.
• Maintain a current Class A or B Commercial Driver's License as required.
• Check orders for accuracy.
• Assist forklift operators when loading.
• Relay messages sent by customers while on job.
• Assist supervisor, other employees and other work areas, as assigned.
• Comply with all company policies and guidelines.
• Participate in and complete assigned trainings.
