Viking Group, Inc. is seeking a reliable CDL Driver to join our team and deliver materials to customer shops and job sites.

This role features a schedule that keeps you home every night, with early starts as early as 4:00 a.m., and a focus on safe loading, unloading, and documentation. You will follow maps, secure loads per DOT rules, document deliveries with signatures and photos, perform pre- and post-trip inspections, and complete training for equipment like boom cranes.

Responsibilities

• Follow maps, GPS, or written directions to deliver materials to customer shops and job sites.
• Use good judgment in assessing job site conditions and ensuring safe unloading practices.
• Follow all DOT, OSHA, licensing, company policies, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations in the operation of company vehicles.
• Obtain valid customer signatures on all delivery documentation.
• Take clear photos of deliveries to document quantities and materials delivered (e.g., 6 bundles, 2 skids, etc.).
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
• Training will be provided for additional equipment that may be used, including boom cranes and other truck-mounted equipment.
• Be available for early start times, including as early as 4:00 a.m.
• Frequently lift and move materials weighing up to 75 lbs.
• Successfully complete training and certification requirements on company equipment used to load and unload pipe and other materials from flatbed trailers and other approved equipment.
• Secure loads in accordance with DOT regulations and company procedures to ensure safe transportation of materials.
• Deliver materials to active construction sites, customer facilities, and other delivery locations while maintaining a high level of customer service and professionalism.
• Follow all company SOPs and seek clarification when needed to ensure duties are completed accurately and safely.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management to support operational and customer service objectives.
