Job summary

Viking Group is seeking a reliable CDL-A Driver to deliver materials to customer shops or job sites, with nightly home time and possible night, weekend, or early-morning deliveries. The role requires safe handling, sign-off on delivery documents, and operation of piggyback forklifts for loading and unloading.

Responsibilities include daily truck inspections, driver logs, and strict adherence to DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• CDL-A license and equipment certifications (crane, industrial truck) are required.
• Minimum 6 months in a previous driving position.
• Basic keypad and/or keyboard skills are required.
• Prior RF technology experience in a barcode environment is helpful.
• 1 year multitasking in time-constrained settings.

Responsibilities

• Deliver to customer shop or jobsite following maps or directions.
• Ensure safe unloading and obtain signatures on delivery documents.
• Operate piggyback forklift for loading/unloading.
• Complete daily truck inspections and driver logs as needed.
• Adhere to DOT regulations and company policies; perform additional tasks as assigned.
