Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-3 years driving experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain Class B CDL with Hazmat endorsement (21+).
• Currently holding Class B CDL with tanker and Hazmat endorsements preferred.
• Satisfactory driving record required.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills; MS Office; ERP/MRP experience preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing or chemical environment preferred.
• Able to pass DOT physical and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Professionally deliver products to internal and external customer sites.
• Know equipment and processes for handling, storing, shipping and transporting hazardous materials per DOT standards.
• Accurately complete shipping, receiving, inventory and inspection paperwork.
• Provide routine minor vehicle and equipment maintenance and inspections.
• Maintain housekeeping standards.
• Apply product quality and safety standards and report safety incidents.
• Communicate compliance, safety, and equipment needs to supervisor or designated back-up.
• Operate in accordance with SOPs and applicable environmental, safety and health regulations.
• Perform other related duties as needed.
