Job summary

Denali Park Adventures in Alaska is seeking safe and knowledgeable CDL drivers to provide an entertaining experience while transporting guests on the Parks Highway. This role requires strong communication skills, adaptability, and a clean driving history.

Job Overview

We are looking for safe and knowledgeable CDL drivers to transport guests and provide an entertaining experience on the Parks Highway. The role requires timing, adaptability to pickup changes, and last‑minute adjustments while ensuring guest safety and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

• Drive safely for up to 8 hours a day, with the majority of time spent with guests. Safety is a priority.
• Transport guests to and from our ATV site and pickup locations.
• Verify all guests listed on the manifest are accounted for and on the shuttle; update on changes promptly.
• Maintain constant communication with Tour Reps and Tour Managers via phone and text.
• Demonstrate knowledge of tours and trail area; answer guest questions accurately.
• Complete walk‑around and pre‑trip inspection sheet.
• Clean the inside and outside of the shuttle during and at the end of the shift.
• Monitor and maintain fuel level; report maintenance concerns to mechanics.
• Assist with collecting participation agreements, transporting staff, courier duties, and light tour sales as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Ability to remain calm and think critically in high‑stress situations.
• Flexibility with scheduling; able to work a mix of morning and evening tours.
• Willingness to assist in maintenance as needed.
• Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Passenger Endorsement.
• Clean driving history and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• First Aid and CPR certification.
• Proficiency with iPhone and iPad.
• Desire to live and work in a relatively remote area of Alaska for approximately 4.5 months.

Pay is DOE – starting at $24 ($22 hourly base wage + $2 per hour end of season bonus) + TIPS (tips will add at least $4–8/hour)
