PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT

Operates a truck (single, tandem, or multi-axle) for delivery and/or pick-up of agronomy and energy products, following specified schedules to/from company or customer locations to support profitable business growth.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

1. Operate all assigned vehicles, including forklifts, in accordance with safety standards and proper operation techniques.
2. Perform and record daily safety checks of vehicles and equipment, conduct pre-trip inspections, and maintain a clean, professional vehicle appearance.
3. Load and unload containers, pallets, or materials safely, ensuring loads are balanced and compliant with DOT regulations.
4. Ensure timely deliveries and pickups, promoting superior customer service and professionalism.
5. Complete all documentation accurately, including bills of lading, delivery slips, and invoices, and submit them promptly.
6. Maintain accurate logs and records of cargo and other duties as assigned.

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS

• Maintain company equipment and adhere to company policies and standards.
• Follow GROWMARK's Code of Conduct, Environmental, Health, Safety, OSHA, and DOT policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent, with up to 2+ years of related experience operating tractor-trailers or tender trucks, meeting company and DOT standards.
• Possess or able to obtain a CDL with required endorsements, a valid medical card, and maintain a good driving record.
• Ability to work extended hours as needed.
• Obtain and maintain necessary certifications, licenses, and permits.
• Ability to work in various conditions, including extreme weather, noisy environments, dust, fumes, chemicals, and at heights.
• Lift 51-70 lbs.
• Participate in required training related to company policies and safety procedures.
