Job summary

Tri-State Tree Service in Pensacola, FL is hiring a CDL Driver/Groundsman to support our tree care crews. This full-time position combines commercial driving with hands-on groundsman duties at job sites.

You will operate trucks and equipment, perform safety checks, assist with site cleanup, and communicate with climbers and clients. CDL Class A is required; a clean driving record and ability to meet DOT requirements are essential.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A license required with clean driving record and DOT readiness.
• Groundsman experience preferred; willingness to learn tree-side work.
• Ability to work in all weather and physically demanding outdoor conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate company trucks and equipment safely and conduct daily inspections.
• Transport crews and materials to job sites and assist on grounds with branches and debris.
• Maintain communication with climbers, enforce safety and PPE usage.
• Provide professional client interaction and assist with site cleanup.
