Job summary

FCC Environmental Services, LLC is seeking a CDL Driver for grappling truck operations in St. Augustine, FL. You will perform pre/post trip inspections, and safely operate a CMV on diverse routes including city streets and alleys.

The role requires a valid CDL Class A or B, DOT regulatory compliance, and FMCSA Clearinghouse registration. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and preferably garbage/recycling experience. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Garbage/Recycling experience preferred.
• Valid CDL Class A or B.
• Ability to lift or carry heavy objects as necessary.
• Must meet all qualifications as defined under DOT regulations.
• Must be registered with FMCSA's Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete pre and post operation inspection of the vehicle to ensure safety.
• Safely operate commercial vehicles on assigned routes (highways, residential areas, alleys).
• Operate manual and/or automatic controls per FCC policies and safety rules.
• Interact courteously with dispatchers and staff to ensure timely service.
• Monitor vehicle condition to minimize downtime and keep services on schedule.
• Accurately complete required documents and reports.
• Maintain productivity standards to serve customers efficiently.
• Uphold all safety policies and procedures.
