PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT

Operates semi-tractors and tankers following specified time schedules to/from company or customer locations to achieve profitable business growth.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Operates semi-tractors and tankers in accordance with safety standards and proper vehicle operation techniques.
• Performs daily safety checks, including pre-trip inspections and maintenance, maintaining a professional appearance.
• Follows all DOT regulations.
• Ensures timely deliveries and pickups, promoting customer service and professionalism.
• Completes documentation such as bill of ladings, delivery slips, and invoices accurately and on time.
• Maintains accurate logbooks and records of cargo daily.

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS

• Follows company policies, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA, and DOT procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent, with 2+ years related experience operating tractor-trailers, meeting company and DOT standards.
• Essential skills include business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision-making, and skill development.
• Must have or obtain a CDL with endorsements, a valid medical card, and a good driving record.
• Ability to work extended hours as needed.
• Occasional exposure to extreme weather, dust, fumes, chemicals, electrical hazards, and working at heights.
• Lift 51-70 lbs.
• Willingness to participate in required training on company policies and safety procedures.
