Job description

Scott Waste Services has an immediate opening for a CDL Truck Driver to join the team in Bowling Green, KY.

Our CDL Driver will operate a Front-Load garbage truck on a specified route. We seek individuals with a leadership mentality and desire to grow with promotional opportunities in this role.

Pay Rate: $22.00/hr plus approximately 10 or so hours of overtime weekly.

(Overtime is time and a half after 40 hrs)

Schedule: 12:00am start time averaging approximately 10 hours per day.

Monday-Friday with occasional Saturdays.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Maintain safe and efficient operations of solid waste collection truck.
• Dump all containers and leave the customer’s location clean and free of debris.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and complete daily work sheet.
• Follows route assignments and completes all documentation when checking in at end of the day.
• Participate in all scheduled training, briefings, and meetings as required.

Job Requirements:

• Valid Class B CDL with air brakes endorsement as a minimum.
• Clean Driving Record.
• Ability to lift at least 50lbs repeatedly.
• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
