Job summary

EarthFresh in Monte Vista, CO is seeking a CDL Driver to ensure safe, efficient delivery of products to customers and company facilities, while complying with DOT/FMCSA and safety policies. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the CDL Driver ensures compliance with all applicable regulations.

Requirements include high school diploma, CDL Class A, 3–5 years of driving in food distribution, DOT medical card, ability to operate manual transmission and air brakes, and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of commercial driving experience.
• DOT Medical Card required or ability to obtain.
• Ability to operate manual transmission and air-brake equipped vehicles.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and overnight travel.

Responsibilities

• Safely load, transport, and deliver products per schedule.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain driver logs and DOT documentation.
• Secure cargo to prevent damage.
• Coordinate with warehouse on loading/unloading.
• Operate pallet jacks, lift gates as required.
• Provide courteous service to customers and vendors.
• Attend safety training and meetings.
