Job summary

ElectriCom, together with Isbell Construction, seeks a CDL Driver to support a directional drill crew on telecommunications and utility projects. You will transport equipment and materials to job sites and assist with drilling activities, outdoors in all weather, with overnight travel as required.

Valid Class A CDL required; experience with commercial vehicles and hauling gear; safety-conscious; willing to travel; able to perform physical labor and assist field crews.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Experience driving commercial vehicles and hauling equipment.
• Experience supporting or operating directional drill equipment preferred.
• General knowledge of telecom or utility construction practices.
• Strong safety awareness and ability to work outdoors in all weather.
• Willingness to travel including overnight assignments.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Operate CDL-required vehicles to transport equipment, materials, and crew to job sites
• Assist directional drill crew with setup, operation, and teardown of drilling equipment
• Support bore operations including locating, drilling, and installation activities (experience preferred)
• Load, secure, and unload equipment and materials in accordance with safety standards
• Perform daily vehicle and equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain awareness of underground and overhead utilities
• Assist with general labor tasks, site preparation, and clean up as needed
• Work outdoors in all weather and terrain conditions
• Travel to job sites, including overnight out of town assignments; overtime may be required
• Participate in required training and perform traffic control as needed
