Job summary

APAC-Atlantic, a CRH Company, is hiring a truck driver to operate tractor-trailer units and ensure timely loading/unloading for coastal Georgia and Low Country SC markets. A valid CDL-B or CDL-A is required, with 3+ years in construction-related driving preferred, and a strong emphasis on safety and administrative duties.

You will perform pre/post trip inspections, maintain logs, and adhere to DOT guidelines while working in a team environment with a focus on quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand written and oral direction and communicate it clearly.
• Strong prioritization and organizational skills.
• Time management, interpersonal and administrative skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily pre/post trip inspections with documentation per DOT and company policies.
• Maneuver trucks to loading/unloading positions with guidance from loading crew.
• Maintain logs of working hours and vehicle service or repair status.
• Report vehicle defects, accidents, or damage to vehicles.
