Job summary

Gator Gypsum, Inc. - Sarasota is seeking a delivery driver to operate a commercial vehicle safely and deliver freight with customer service excellence.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, loading materials on flatbed/boom trucks, and maintaining regulatory records. Applicants must hold a valid CDL, have a minimum Class B license (Class A preferred), and a clean 3-year MVR with knowledge of DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL license is required.
• Minimum Class B license; Class A preferred.
• Clear three-year Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
• Solid knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations.
• Ability to lift heavy building materials up to 80 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Inspect truck/trailer and ensure safe operation.
• Safely load and unload materials onto flatbed/boom truck.
• Deliver materials to assigned areas with safety first.
• Maintain records for compliance with regulations.
• Report all accidents involving driver or equipment.
• Handle heavy loads up to 100+ lbs when loading/unloading.
• Provide excellent customer service and professional conduct.
