Salary: $20-$25/hourly

Responsibilities

• Operate trucks (single, tandem, or multi-axle) for delivery and/or pick-up of agronomy and energy products, following schedules to/from company and customer locations to promote profitable growth.
• Operate all assigned vehicles, forklifts, etc., following safety standards and proper techniques.
• Perform daily safety checks, conduct pre-trip inspections, and maintain vehicle cleanliness and functionality.
• Load and unload containers, pallets, or materials safely, ensuring proper weight distribution and compliance with DOT regulations.
• Ensure timely deliveries and pickups, providing excellent customer service and professionalism.
• Complete all documentation accurately, including bills of lading, delivery slips, and invoices.
• Maintain accurate logs and records, and develop market knowledge through territory and competitive analysis.
• Maintain company equipment and adhere to policies and standards, including safety and conduct policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, with 2+ years of related experience operating tractor trailers or tender trucks, meeting company and DOT standards.
• Essential skills include business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision-making, and skill development.
• Must have or obtain a CDL with required endorsements, a valid medical card, and a clean driving record.
• Ability to work extended hours and on-call as needed.
• Ability to obtain and maintain necessary certifications, licenses, and permits.
• Occasionally exposed to extreme weather, noise, dust, fumes, chemicals, electrical hazards, and varying heights; lift 51-70 lbs.
• Willingness to participate in training and comply with safety and company policies.
