Job summary

Coastline Concrete & Infrastructure LLC is seeking a dependable, hands-on CDL Driver / Equipment Operator / Mechanic to support commercial concrete construction operations. This role combines CDL driving, equipment operation, and basic mechanical maintenance while prioritizing safety and versatility.

You will transport and operate heavy equipment, assist field crews with logistics, and perform routine maintenance.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with acceptable driving record.
• 21+ years old for interstate driving.
• Ability to meet DOT driver qualifications.
• Experience operating construction equipment; concrete experience preferred.
• Basic mechanical knowledge and ability to perform routine maintenance.
• Willing to work overtime as project needs require.
• Experience in commercial concrete or related construction preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport construction equipment, materials, and supplies to and from jobsites.
• Load, secure, and unload equipment and materials.
• Operates construction equipment including skid steers, loaders, and excavators.
• Support concrete construction operations including site prep and material handling.
• Perform required vehicle and equipment inspections.
• Complete routine preventive maintenance and minor repairs on trucks and equipment.
• Identify equipment issues and coordinate repairs as needed.
• Assist field crews with jobsite logistics and general construction activities.
• Maintain required DOT documentation and safety compliance.
• Perform additional field operations duties as needed.

This position combines CDL driving, equipment operation, and basic mechanical maintenance. What You’ll Do

• Safely transport construction equipment, concrete forming materials, reinforcing materials, tools, and supplies to and from jobsites.
• Load, secure, and unload equipment and materials.
• Operate construction equipment, including skid steers, loaders, excavators, and other equipment as needed.
• Support concrete construction operations, including site preparation, material handling, and equipment coordination.
• Perform required vehicle and equipment inspections.
• Complete routine preventive maintenance and minor mechanical repairs on trucks and construction equipment.

What We’re Looking For

• Basic mechanical knowledge and ability to perform routine maintenance and minor repairs.
• Experience in commercial concrete or related construction preferred.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and construction safety practices.
• Ability to safely load, secure, and transport equipment and materials.
• Dependable, flexible, and willing to support various field operations activities.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physically demanding work.
• Availability to work overtime as project needs require.
