Job summary

Republic Services, Inc. seeks a CDL-B Driver to safely operate a collection truck and provide prompt, courteous waste removal for customers. You will ensure vehicle compliance with safety standards, complete daily vehicle condition reports, and follow all state and federal regulations.

You will read route sheets, service customers on schedule, and maintain readiness of the vehicle. Strong safety awareness and good communication with dispatch and customers are essential to success.

Qualifications

• Class B or higher CDL with air brakes endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections according to policy.
• Safely operate the collection truck on assigned routes and service customers on time.
• Load refuse using packer and controls, dispose at designated facilities.
• Communicate courteously with customers, dispatchers and coworkers daily.
• Identify improper waste containers and monitor waste for unacceptable materials.
• Complete required reports and maintain productivity standards.
• Adhere to safety policies and participate in ReSOP program.
