Job summary

Batesville is seeking a dependable Commercial Driver to join our team. Responsible for operating a Commercial Motor Vehicle to transport products to customer locations safely, on time, and with professional service.

The role emphasizes DOT compliance, vehicle inspections, customer relationship building, and accurate HOS/ELD data entry. You must have a high school diploma or GED, a valid CDL, and the ability to lift up to 100 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years of commercial driving experience.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Must pass a vehicle road test and maintain a current DOT physical.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds frequently and over 100 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Commercial Motor Vehicles ranging from straight truck to tractor trailer.
• Deliver and unload caskets in a safe manner.
• Develop and nurture customer relationships.
• Effectively meet CSC and customer demands.
• Maintain DOT regulations, vehicle inspections, and safety procedures.
• Utilize electronic logging devices (ELD) for hours of service recording and data entry.
