Local CDL A or Local CDL B Driver w/ Knuckleboom or w/ Crane Certification

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

The primary duty of the Logistics Specialist II (Driver) is to deliver building materials to customers or job sites within a 200-mile radius of the home branch. Deliveries start and end at the branch, with no overnight stays required.

1. Home every night
2. Safety Bonus
3. Safely operate a commercial vehicle in compliance with DOT regulations
4. Lead job site safety, operating equipment according to laws
5. Perform pre and post-trip inspections
6. Verify and confirm inventory loaded, matching purchase orders and delivery tickets, and confirm routing information
7. Inspect the job site for existing damages and obstacles, documenting conditions
8. Take pictures of delivered building products as per company policy

Requirements

1. Valid Class A or Class B CDL
2. Crane operation and boom certifications are a plus
3. Ability to load/unload building materials weighing up to 100 lbs., experience with forklifts or Moffett is a plus
4. Clean driving record, no recent hit & runs or DWI/DUI in the last three years
5. Prior commercial driving experience and knowledge of safety regulations are a plus
6. Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
7. Minimum age of 18; 21 if crossing state lines or transporting hazardous materials
8. Pass a drug test, possess a current DOT medical card, and pass E-Verify
9. Register with FMCSA Clearinghouse as required
